Artwork Authenticity, Purchasing and Copyrights
The best we can provide is staggering artworks available in limited editions (LE), produced with
high-quality materials and granted a certificate of authenticity, intended to make the picture
more exclusive and unique. Limited edition (LE) print means that no more prints will be
produced once the edition is sold out. Each print is titled, dated, signed, and numbered by the
artist Chris Scheper himself, creator of the original photograph, fine art, sketch, etc.
The market price can rise over time if demand outstrips supply. Therefore, it pays off to
become the first buyer of our artwork! Please keep checking our channels for updates and
releases.
Our Limited Editions (LE) usually include 24 pieces (medium and large-sized artworks), with a
commitment that no other image reproduction will be made. We have chosen this specific
number because Chris got his first professional camera at the age of 24. The XL versions’
artworks are limited to only 11 editions. This chosen number represents Chris’s birthday.
Furthermore, we have Open editions (OE) that don’t have limited amounts. There is no limit on
the print runs, and they don’t have a certificate of authenticity. The quality and appearance of
Limited (LE) or Open-edition (OE) artworks are the same.
However, for each Masterprint (max. size 500x240cm), there are 4 so-called “Artist Master
Prints” available within the Limited Edition (LE) series. These are much bigger than the XL sizes
and are personally printed and hand-signed by Chris. Price and sizes are available upon
request. These services could also be essential if Gesamptkunstwerke were created within a
sizeable architectural scope or gallery, also known as “a total work of art”.
We collaborate with our printing service team to ensure our artwork provides the most
information. The artwork may not be reproduced by any process without the artist’s written
consent. The artist retains all copyright and reproduction rights.

your purchase, you will meet the gold standard of carbon-neutral fine-art prints combined
with sustainable Hahnemuhle, Canson and Ilford materials that hold a magnitude of high
quality. – –
100% end-to-end carbon neutral
The Carbon emissions of “theprintspace” are minimised using “renewable” energy and durable
facilities. The printing locations are global to limit air travel distances. Unavoidable emissions
are calculated by carbon offsetting, which is not ideal but the most immediate measurement
method with an instant effect on renewable energy investments.
Artwork Paper and Packaging “Sustainable”
Biodiversity and circular economy are now the order of the day. Printing and packaging
methods have a much greater impact on sustainability than carbon-neutral principles. We are
very keen on this topic because we are concerned about plastic pollution. For this reason, used
materials are carefully selected to reduce the environmental impact. We still want you to know
that we will ensure you get your order in perfect condition. The packages are shipped with a
mixture of sustainably sourced, recyclable or biodegradable materials.
We print most of our artworks to achieve museum quality on the beloved and versatile classic
Hahnemuhle’s Fine Photrag paper, Canson Baryta or Ilford Cotton. Hahnemuhle’s versatile
fine-art papers are manufactured with end-2-end clean water, are naturally fully recyclable,
and are based on sustainable pulps (FSC or PEFC certified), innovative tree-free papers, or
cascade fibre feedstock as raw materials. They are manufactured by resource-saving and
cradle-to-cradle production methods. All this meets a first-class resistance to ageing that will
last hundreds of years.
Hahnemühle Photorag
Our most popular fine art, Giclee paper, the Hahnemühle Photorag, is loved
equally by photographers, illustrators, and artists. With a super matt finish, the
paper allows for muted blacks, excellent detail and even colour reproduction.
With its chalky smooth cotton base, the texture is minimal, which creates
brilliant colour gradients. We recommend handling this paper carefully to
avoid the edges fraying.

The Canson Baryta, Giclee paper, is an excellent choice if your images are
highly contrasting or contain vivid or saturated colours. The pure white Baryta
base makes the whites feel whiter and the density in the blacks stronger. The
surface of this fine art paper has a smooth silk-like reflective coating. The
Canon Baryta is one of our more delicate papers. Handle this paper with care
because it is sensitive. We advise framing a Passe-Partout

ILFORD Cotton Textured
The Ilford Cotton Textured Giclee paper has a white uncoated base and a
highly textured surface, creating a distinct, refined art feel and craft quality.
Ilford’s highest photographic quality is based on 140 years of experience and a
long commitment to black-and-white photography. This fine art paper is
excellent, with colour intensity ensuring strong blacks, while the pronounced
texture holds the ink and catches the light. This is the most textured paper in
our range. The Ilford Cotton Textured is a robust paper that handles mounting
well.

Customized Artwork; Framing, Acrylic Glass, Alu-Dibond Printing, Passe-Partout or
Masterprint (500×240) “Gesamptkunstwerke”?
Every Open-series (OE) Artwork can also be ordered on Acrylic glass 2-6 mm thickness (max
size 290x180cm), Alu-dibond 3mm thickness (max. sizes 180x122cm) or Customized frames or
eventual Masterprints (max. sizes 500x240cm); we have many possibilities and samples
available. These techniques give the artwork a sense of depth and bring the work to life,
supported by a floated hanging system. We help you pick suitable materials and colours and
guide you through the process. Another benefit of these techniques is that the artwork can be
presented without white borders, which could be an option for pairing other works together.
However, for each Masterprint (max. size 500x240cm), there are 4 so-called “Artist Master
Prints” available from the Limited Edition (LE) series! These are bigger than the XL sizes and are

These services could also be essential if a Gesamptkunstwerke is generated within a sizeable
architectural scope or galleries where fine arts are just a part of this.
However, these services, printing, framing and shipping, are all quoted due to their custom
made nature and must be tailor-made. We are more than happy to advise you. Please contact
us, and we will provide an official quotation, including shipping costs (depending on your
location). It is a manual process, even the printing service. Send your request to

Customized Artwork; Platinum palladium printing
Furthermore, we experiment with other printing techniques. Platinum palladium techniques are
unparalleled by any modern printing technique in performance and appearance. It’s a stable
process, capable of holding an image for thousands of years. It is popular with different artists
who value tone range and reflective quality. We selected this technology for specific artworks.
The versatile Hahnemühle Photorag is our paper of choice for starting the process. Possible
sizes are based on Medium and Large from our size guide.

Customized Artwork; Gelatin silver printing.
Furthermore, we experiment with other printing techniques. Gelatin Silver is associated with
darkroom black-and-white work in the early 20th century. This hands-on printing method is
still extremely popular today, with a rich history of photographers. Ilford is our paper of choice
for starting the process. On walls, it is a gift of elegance itself. We use specific tones like
selenium toning, sepia toning, gold toning, and platinum toning. Possible sizes are based on
Medium and Large from our size guide.
